We may receive information you choose to include in an email. Please do not email medical records, Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, or other sensitive information.

How we use and share information

We use information to answer questions, maintain appropriate business records, prevent abuse, and operate the website.

Information may be shared with website and email providers, professional advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to provide services or comply with law. We do not sell or rent personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies, children, and retention

We do not currently use advertising cookies. Essential technologies may be used by our website host to operate and secure the site.

The website and publications are designed for adult caregivers, educators, and other adults who support children. They are not child-directed materials or intended for independent use by children. Children should not submit personal information.

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for communication, security, legal obligations, and recordkeeping. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Resources for Caregivers briefs are provided free of charge for personal, family, classroom, and nonprofit educational use. You may download, print, and share complete, unmodified copies when the Resources for Caregivers name, copyright notice, safety information, and source links remain intact.

You may not sell a brief, alter it, remove attribution or safety information, repost it as a separate download, translate it, or incorporate it into a commercial product without written permission. Please share the official publication page when practical so readers can find the current version.
